Gregory Jewellers recently celebrated Zenith’s unveiling of their newest creations with an event at Aria Restaurant in Sydney.
It was an evening surrounded by the stunning views of Sydney Harbour, accompanied by amazing food and guests, all which was highlighted by the art of Zenith’s watchmaking.

Zenith exists to inspire individuals to pursue their dreams and make them come true – against all odds. They have been shaping the future of Swiss watchmaking since 1865, accompanying those who dare to challenge themselves and break barriers and their DEFY collection unveiling was no different.
The Zenith DEFY collection combines cutting-edge manufacture movements with futuristic forms and materials, while continuing the legacy of always surpassing itself and setting new standards of performance and style.

THE NEW ERA OF DEFY IS HERE AND NOW
One of the pieces the night focused on was the latest addition and guaranteed staple to its collection – the DEFY Skyline. A timepiece powered by the new El Primero 3620 which also features a 1/10th of a second counter, added for the first time to the Defy time and date model.

Since the earliest days of the DEFY collection, Zenith has sought to make its mark with sturdy and singularly designed timekeepers that would accompany their wearers throughout whatever life journey they chose to embark on.
The DEFY Skyline is no exception.
The Zenith DEFY Skyline blends aesthetic elements of the original 1969 DEFY watch while bringing an edgier and more architectural design paired with unprecedented function to the everyday sports watch.

“It’s the purest expression of the modernistic DEFY line that stands out without ever feeling out of place, and really solidifies the DEFY’s position at the forefront of the future of watchmaking”.
Julien Tornare – Zenith CEO
The DEFY collection is available in three different dial colours, silver, black and blue. All which feature a stainless-steel case measuring 41mm in diameter, with sharply defined edges and a screw-down crown, emblazoned with the star emblem providing a water-resistance of 10 ATM (100 metres).
The DEFY Skyline is delivered on a steel bracelet with a satin-brushed surface. A rubber strap with a sunburst pattern in continuity with the dial is also provided, made in blue for the blue dial, black for the black dial and olive-green for the silver dial.
