The Seiko Prospex 1968 “Diver’s Reinterpretation” GMT 42mm redesigns a heritage watch for the modern era, featuring a green dial with luminescent hands and indices and a subtle date window between 4 and 5 o’clock. An additional gold-coloured hand allows for tracking of another timezone using the 24-hour marks on the flange. Housed on an iconic stainless steel cushion case and fitted on a matching metal bracelet with a folding clasp providing extra comfort and security for the wearer. In addition to 200m water resistance, this SPB381J model is powered by the 6R54 Calibre offering up to 70 hours power reserve.
Seiko is introducing a new movement in the long-trusted 6R family that has a GMT function and a power reserve extended to a full 72 hours. Calibre 6R54 is presented in three new Prospex creations that are all modern re-interpretations of a Seiko classic from 1968 and are designed for diving with 200-metre water resistance.
