On the black dial, the world’s seven summits are marked with red dots on two turning globes and are also engraved on the case back. All of which is housed in a stainless steel case and fitted on an aged calf leather strap with a titanium folding clasp. Developed in Villeret, the manufacture movement world-time complication displays two striking domed globes which turn in opposite directions that complete a full rotation in 24 hours. Both are surrounded by a scale with the 24 time zones, along with a day and night indication in contrasting colours SuperLumiNova® continents for increased visibility and performance at night.
The 1858 collection is inspired by the professional Minerva watches intended for military use and mountain exploration. The line pays tribute to the 160 years of the Minerva manufacture and its extraordinary heritage. Material such as a special alloy of bronze evolve over time, they feature innovative and useful in-house complications.
