An asymmetrically designed earrings featuring Australian Argyle pink diamonds pave set in a lovely petal adorn beautifully with a circle of white diamond. Crafted in 18k, the pink diamonds are set in rose gold and the white diamonds are set in white gold bead settings. Post and butterfly fitted.
The Argyle mine was an open cut mine until 2013. With the diamond yield diminishing each year, Rio Tinto invested in a strategic plan to extend the life of the mine by transitioning it to an underground operation. The remaining life of the Argyle mine is unknown but it’s estimated to be a decade at best.
